Alisa Čaber

Artist Biography-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alisa Čaber, was born in 1983 in Karlovac, The Republic of Croatia. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2007, where she also completed her Master's Degree in graphics in 2011. Currently, she is getting her PhD on Art Theory and Media at the interdisciplinary studies of the University of Arts in Belgrade.----------------------------------------------- During higher education, but also outside of that period, she had the honor and the opportunity to expose at numerous group exhibitions in her country and abroad.----------------------------- She is also the fifteenth solo member of the Association for Visual Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina. -------------------------------------------Lately, she has been doing research in the fields of experimental graphics, handmade paper and on minimal intervention of graphic print (linocut and other various items), playing with the formative level of the relations between the visible and the invisible, insisting on an embossed drawing, and also on questioning the absolute whiteness and silence in art.
