Adela Nurković Kulenović
Adela Nurković - Kulenović was born on 1981 in Rožaje, Montenegro. She graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in the class of professor Radoslav Tadić. After completing her basic studies, she enrolled postgraduate studies in the class of Professor Amer Bakšić. He is a member of the Association of Artists ofBosnia and Herzegovina.
She has exhibited her art independently as well as at many group exhibitions in the country and abroad.
In her work, Adela gives the highest attention to color as the primary visual element. Strong contrasts on her paintings and layers of paint create a floating space filled with geometric shapes that together with the silhouettes given in her paintings create the depth of space in a way that is completely new.
>>The strong color in my paintings symbolizes life, at all times, in every moment of our existence exists color, and for that reason I give her a great significance. She does not have to paint something recognizable; she simply lives for herself, thus affecting the viewer. In my pictures, you can often see the use of different painted layers or surfaces, most often geometric shapes from which a white silhouette emerges that represents the departure or arrival of the menu of close people who build me and my story at that distance between arrival and departure.<<
